In his early years Butch would travel to different venues and perform. Check out this cheezy picture when Butch was in the 6th grade.

Who remembers The Thunder Ball Club in 1966 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina? The Esquires were the house band during the summer. We had many Kanawha Valley patrons come down and party with us. I will never forget that July 4th weekend.
